A day is not a crossing. But it is the same boat, the same crew, the same water.
When Warrior comes out of refit for the Cape Town summer, her first sails are day sails: an evening in Table Bay beneath Table Mountain, the full peninsula run to Cape Point, and days aboard around the racing calendar she was built for. No experience needed — you sail, you don't spectate. And day crews hear it first when the ocean passages open.
The sails
- 01Sunset sails, Table Bay — an evening under sail beneath the mountain.
- 02Cape Point, the full day — the peninsula run, the Atlantic under her keel.
- 03Race days — aboard for the calendar Warrior was built to sail.
Three ways out on the water. Dates open to the list first.

The yacht

Warrior · Simonis Voogd 60 · fresh from refit
A genuine offshore racing legend — Cape to Rio line honours among her victories — rebuilt through 2026 with new rigging and sails. The day sails are her first sails back: the same deck the ocean crossings stand their watches on.

The refit is the slow part; the sailing comes back fast. If you want to be aboard when she returns, join the list — I set the first dates with the people on it.
